[ as the device's screen turns on, you're treated to the sight of two ralts. they don't seem to be doing anything in particular, but that's enough to inspire makoto to pull out of her device. this thing takes pictures, right? she's not entirely sure, but if it's a phone, it's gotta have that kind of function!

so while she fiddles with her device, inadvertently turning it on, she calls out to another person. ]

Hey, Ryo! Ryo! Look! They're cute, aren't they?

[Another voice gives a light giggle at Makoto's excitement. When she's excited like this, even Ryo can't stay worried about their predicament!]

You really like them, don't you Makoto-san...? Though, to be honest, I think they're more "cool" than "cute".

Really? [ no, they definitely look cute to her. she stares a bit longer, before quietly deciding to herself that they're definitely more "cute" than "cool". but more importantly... ]

Oh! I think this is recording. [ uh... whoops? she turns her device so it's facing ryo, figuring they should give their audience something more than two cute pokemon rolling around. ] Um... quick, say something!

Eh?! Why me?!

[Ryo's shocked face takes up the entire screen. What do?! All right, back up back up... Okay, much better. Well, "something" was kinda vague, and arguing with Makoto is something Ryo doesn't want to do, so... A greeting, maybe? That's pretty basic. Time to flash a bright smile!]

Umm... H-How do you do? I'm Ryo Akizuki. I'm an idol from 876 Productions, though I don't think it really matters right now... With me, is, um... [Ryo tries to discreetly whisper, though it's pretty audible.] Makoto-san, maybe you should say something too?

[ at those words, maktoo turns the camera around so that she's the one on screen now. ]

I'm Makoto Kikuchi, from 765 Production! If I have any fans here, I don't mind giving autographs! [ she laughs a bit as she says it, making clear that she's just joking. she's hardly that popular yet. ] But anyways... it's nice to meet you!

[ she nods, satisfied by the message, before turning back to Ryo. she thinks the message has ended now, though obviously it hasn't... ]

[Ryo nods, satisfied.]

Yes! You're amazing as always. [Though anything Makoto does is amazing to Ryo---] Hm? It looks like... you might have left it on.

Eh? No, I made sure I... ack, you're right!

[ makoto fumbles around with the device a bit before finally, this time successfully, turning it off. ]

Isn't Miki always popular? [ other than the idols in ryuuguu komachi, miki's always been one of the more impressive of their bunch. though that last bit... uh... confuses her. ] Um, I guess you can... [ is that something you can even share?

[ All she wanted to do was sleep, but that NPC was having none of that. ]

Miki wouldn't know... [ Signs aren't her thing either. ] Miki thinks you should call the Breeding Centre to get another Pokemon. You could get one that compliments one of Miki's Pokemon for cute pics.

[ not to mention she isn't sure what the breeding centre is, but she's already grown rather attached to her strange lazy green thing. ] What kind of Pokemon do you have anyway, Miki? Maybe I can catch something good... [ she's not sure how admirable miki's goals are, but she won't say no to cute pics either... ]

[ If only it could follow Miki around and keep her from taking unnecessary naps. Alas... ]

Miki got a lot of Pokemon from the Breeding Centre when Miki called. [ It's true, she bought too many for her to care for. They were all so cute. ~~Thankfully, she can trick others into taking care of them for her.~~ ] Miki started with Chiki.

[ Fumbling around lazily, she'll turn the PokeGear to show off this green thing. ]

See, a Chiki. [ Chiki, Chikorita, who's counting? ] Chiki had babies, but Miki already gave one away.

Chiki, huh? Nice to meet you!

[ Oh, Chiki rhymes with Miki... Makoto finds that strangely awe inspiring. Though she doesn't know what the little green thing's real name is, so she just nods in appreciation. ]

So Chiki had babies, huh? That must have been a lot of-

[ Wait... ]

Babies!?

[ But it's so small and cute how is that possible!!! ]

Yes, babies. Miki was tricked by an evil boy on the first day. Shinn used a Ditto and that Ditto transformed to look like Chiki. [ Her voice just sinks more into a whine than anything else. ] Then they ran off into the tall grass and then later there were eggs!

[ Not only did Shinn's Ditto look like Miki's Chikorta, it also adopted her flirty personality. It's still up for debate as to who seduced who... ]

Miki won that duel though, so Shinn owes a good lunch.

W, wait a second, wait... [ no, no, no, she's having very serious trouble wrapping her mind around this. ran off into the tall grass? and then there were eggs? ] So they... then they had babies? Just like that?

[ oh dear... she goes to her ralts, wrapping her arms around it protectively and glancing around, afraid some predatory ditto might be around. ]

Can something like that really just be settled with a lunch?

[ Miki still refuses to let Shinn live that day down. It's the only thing she's got over him for now. ]

... Do you think Shinn owes Miki even more then? [ Because she's always looking for an excuse to make him pay for things. ] Well, Miki will be sure to tell him he owes more compensation!

[ shudder. well, if it doesn't bother miki too much then...

no, no, it still bothers makoto. there's no way she can just let that go that easily. she shakes her head a bit as she tries to get the thought out of her head. ]

Way more. He owes you at least... at least... [ what else can she get out of him? ] At least five lunches.
